- Sunday Oliseh has handed Odion Ighalo a piece of advice to remain at Old Trafford

- The Man United striker has been offered a staggering £400k-per-week deal in China

- But Oliseh believes the former Super Eagles striker should play in a prestigious club

Sunday Oliseh has urged Odion Ighalo to extend his Man Untied contract at the end of the season rather than take up the £400,000-per-week offer in China, Complete Sports reports.

The former Nigerian international signed a six-month loan deal at Old Trafford on deadline day of the January window.

And so far the 30-year-old has been in superb form for the Red Devils, scoring four goals in eight appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.

But it is understood that Ighalo's current club Shanghai Shenhua have dangled the mouth-watering offer to persuade the ex-Watford striker in changing his mind about staying at Old Trafford.

However, Oliseh who played for top European teams including Juventus, Dortmund and Ajax believes Ighalo should play for prestige not the money.

“Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world and Ighalo must do everything to stay at the club,” Oliseh said in a radio interview

“It would be better to be remembered as an ex-Manchester United player than an ex-Watford player.

“Joining United is the greatest thing to happen in his life and it will help his profile even after he is no longer playing.”
