Comedian and actor, AY, has taken to social media to plead with Nigerians trolling him online. Recall that he earlier took to the micro-blogging platform to slam Nigerians for calling out Funke Akindele over her house party.

Well, it appears the Merry Men star couldn't take the heat that followed his tweet and has once again taken to the platform to plead with Nigerians to stop the trolling.

He tweeted: "Twitterians abeg na! since yesterday my chest has been paining me with no appetite 4 food. The insults are too much. Can you all just reduce my sentence to joining @funkeakindele for community service and self isolation from twitter for 14 days? I am sorry. Una pity person papa na."

Also showing support for Akindele is Adunni Ade. Just recently, fellow actress, Adunni, took to social media to react to the situation. The film star explained that Akindele is a law-abiding citizen and that the guests at the party had been with her for several weeks.

Adunni also said that how everything has turned out is totally unfair and that no one is above the law.

Meanwhile, Akindele-Bello and husband Abdulrasheed Bello also known as JJC Skillz have been sentenced for violating social distancing order.

The celebrity couple got N100,000 fine each and are expected to undergo 14-day community service separately. The Jenifa actress had held a birthday bash to celebrate her husband adding another year and had more than 20 guests in attendance.

In other news, Nollywood actress and producer, Omoni Oboli, has taken to social media to show support for Akindele following her troubles with the law.

Shortly after the news of her sentencing broke out, Oboli took to her Instagram page to share a beautiful photo with the Jenifa star, accompanying it with some words of encouragement. She wrote: "We live and we learn ❤️"
