Diverse reactions trail Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s stand on coronavirus and 5G

- Popular preacher, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, recently made the news after he shared his stance on the relationship between coronavirus and 5G

- Pastor Chris said that 5G and not coronavirus is what is killing people

- A number of Nigerians have now reacted to the pastor’s claims on Twitter

The coronavirus pandemic is an issue plaguing many parts of the world and there seems to be no end in sight because there is no vaccine for it yet.

In order to curb the spread of the disease, governments in many parts of the world have ordered lockdowns and advised that people stay at home and practise social distancing.

Amidst the worries about coronavirus, a lot of people are now raising conspiracy theories about 5G network and how it is what is causing the deaths and not the virus.

Popular Nigerian pastor, Chris Oyakhilome, is one of those with this mindset and he even pushed this narrative during a live broadcast of his church service.

Oyakhilome was seen on video saying that the Nigerian federal government ordered the total shutdown of Abuja and Lagos because it was not enough for the state government to do so.

The pastor proceeded to say that the government did that because of 5G in Abuja and Lagos and that they have already tested it in Abuja and are now digging in Lagos.

Oyakhilome said that what killed people in Wuhan, China, was not the virus but the installation of 5G. He also challenged those who do not agree with him to bring up their own theory.

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that on-air-personality and social critic, Daddy Freeze, expressed disappointment at Pastor Chris for his theory on coronavirus and 5G.
