Nigerian politician Babatunde Gbadamosi has apologised for gracing Nollywood actress Funke Akindele's party for her husband, JJC Skillz.
Gbadamosi was spotted in a video apologising to Nigerians, stating that he was sorry for not adhering to the general rule of social distancing.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Funke Akindele flouted the rule of social distancing after organising a birthday party for her husband's birthday. The actress posted moments from the party on her Instagram page to the disappointment of many Nigerians.
As expected, Nigerians took to their social media pages to call out the actress and her husband. They also slammed the people who attended the party including Babatunde Gbadamosi, the owner of the estate where the celebrity couple resides.

In a video spotted online, the politician has apologised to Nigerians. According to him, he went to the Bellos house to pay them a visit with the belief that he would meet only the Bellos and their staff in the house.
Noting that he met just the Bellos and their staff, he said that an hour after his arrival at the house party, a celebrity arrived with a number of people. He said that it was at that point he should have left.
Gbadamosi apologised for his failure to take initiative and leave the environment when it was crowded. The politician also stated that the people who were at the party are residents of the estate.
He encouraged Nigerians to adhere to the social distancing rule, stating that everyone can overcome the coronavirus pandemic.
