- Gernot Rohr has been given strong conditions to fulfill by NFF President Amaju Pinnick to remain as Super Eagles boss

- Part of the conditions is that he must live in Nigeria

- The Franco-German must also be watching Nigerian league games and must be ready to be paid in Naira

- Rohr is expected to be handed a new contract in a week's time but will have to accept these terms and conditions

Amaju Pinnick, NFF president, has stated that a new contract for Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr will be ready in a week's time, Complete Sports reports citing Arise TV.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president in an interview on Arise TV, said that the deal will only be renewed if the German tactician accepts the terms and conditions.

And the former Delta state FA chairman mentioned some of the obligations Rohr should fulfill before he can be given another few years to handle the Nigerian national team.

“In one week, Rohr will get his contract, he should study his contract and come back to us. So, give and take, within seven days, he should have his contract,” Pinnick said on Arise TV ‘Morning Show’.

“The only thing that can impede the contract is if he refuses some of our new clauses in the contract.

“He should live in Nigeria and go around to watch the league matches and see how to nurture the players.

“He has to be paid in naira, we will pay him naira equivalent of the dollars, we have to strengthen our currency. If he’s able to accept, we have a deal.”

Pinnick hinted that getting a new coach will not cause the country headache in case Rohr decides to leave, stressing that many coaches talk to him on a daily basis for the juicy job.

“I get calls everyday from coaches that want to come here,” he added.

The likely change of the Premier League calendar will clash with competitions that have African players involved in them because of the outbreak of COVID-19.

The Cup of Nations will be staged in Cameroon next year between January and February while the Olympic games have been shifted to July and Agust of 2021.

Legit.ng also reported that Diego Maradona once met with the notorious criminal Pablo Escobar in a party held in his luxurious prison painted all over with beautiful women.

The prison La Catedral, was specially built for Escobar and it had a football pitch because of his love for the game.

Players of the Colombian national team usually play exhibition matches on the beautiful pitch and Escobar thought of paying Maradona a huge amount to come and entertain him.
