- Icardi is currently on loan at PSG and his deal will expire in June

Italian League giants Juventus are reportedly eyeing a move for Inter Milan star on loan at Paris Saint Germain Mauro Icardi at the end of this season.

Furthermore, his manager had stopped selecting him for games since the start of the new year over something surprising to the forward.

This, however, means that Inter will forfeit the £61 million transfer fee pre-agreement with the French club over the transfer of Icardi in the summer.

Having signed Romelu Lukaku last summer, it is unlikely that Antonio Conte would be needing the striker any longer.

Corriere dello Sport claims Juventus are in the best position to land the Argentine and offer him guaranteed shots at winning titles season after season.

The Old Lady tried convincing Inter to allow Icardi to join them last August in exchange for countryman Paulo Dybala.

But Parisians beat them to the signing of the former Sampdoria star - a deal that canceled Dybala's move to San Siro.

Higuain, 32, is out of contract in 2021 and has only scored eight times for Juve this season - leading to talk of a move to Athletic Bilbao.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Mauro Icardi's loan move at Paris Saint-Germain has been terminated following comments made by his wife Wanda Nara.

Wanda's recent statement about her husband wanting to return to Italy blew things out of proportion as it angered PSG chiefs.

The 27-year-old joined the Ligue 1 champions after his troubled spell with the San Siro giants Inter Milan.
