- Mrs Okoye is concerned about the whereabouts of President Buhari’s chief of staff, Abba Kyari
- Okoye said that Nigerians need to know his whereabouts because she heard that the Lagos state commissioner for health said that he does not know where he is
The coronavirus pandemic that is ravaging the world made its debut in Nigeria sometime in February 2020 and it arrived in the seat of power, Aso Rock, shortly after.
A number of prominent Nigerian politicians were infected with the disease including the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari’s chief of staff, Abba Kyari.
Since the chief of staff’s positive diagnosis was known to the masses, a lot of theories were spread on social media. It was initially said that Kyari was receiving treatment in Abuja then later transferred to Lagos. Others speculated that the chief of staff was flown out of the country to get better medical treatment.
Well, the reports on the chief of staff died down until recently, as Nigerians are now asking to know his whereabouts.
One of those asking is Nigerian celebrity wife, Lola Okoye. She took to social media via her Instagram page to ask the government to reveal to Nigerians the location of the chief of staff.
Lola said that she heard a report where the Lagos state health commissioner said that he does not know where the chief of staff is.
Speaking further, she said that we need to know as Nigerians if Kyari is fully recovered and that information about his health should not be hidden.

In related news, Legit.ng earlier reported that doctors have given updates on Kyari's health status.
A report by The Cable claims Abba Kyari, the chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, is responding “very well” to treatment but his doctors have asked him to rest more.
Legit.ng gathered that the president’s right-hand man had last week tested positive for COVID-19 but has only experienced mild symptoms, according to family sources.
“Since the diagnosis, he has had the occasional cough, which, though not chesty, remained stubborn, hence his decision to transfer to a private facility in Lagos for further tests and observations."
