Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke professionally known as Davido has said that his colleague Wizkid influenced his decision into becoming a musician.
Davido made this huge revelation during a live chat session on the photo-sharing app, Instagram.
The music star shed light on the journey to his music career when he joined DJ Ecool on the Battle of The Hits challenge on social media, a show created to distract fans and followers from the negative news of the coronavirus Pandemic, which has got many people down with worry and anxiety.
In the video on Instagram, DJ Ecool and Davido were seen interacting. The DJ was throwing some questions at the singer and he responded accordingly.

At a point, Davido talked about how he got interested in music. The DMW boss said that it was when his colleague Wizkid came into the music industry that he decided to join.
According to him, "Wizkid came in and that’s when young people like me decided to do music."
After he made this revelation, Davido danced to a song by Wizkid as he smiled widely.
The Blow My Mind crooner is not one to shy away from talking about his life and career and he is always honest about them, which is one of the attributes that endeared him to his fans and followers.
The father of three rose to fame after releasing Dami Duro, the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo in 2012 and he has grown to become a household name.
