Coronavirus: Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin gives his workers N25 million

The founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, has blessed his workers with N25 million to help cushion the effect of the coronavirus pandemic on them.

In a video posted on YouTube, the man of God could be seen giving each of his worker bundle of money to feed as coronavirus pandemic continues.

In other news, an Asian man who was treated in an isolation centre in Lagos after testing positive for coronavirus has commended the state government after being discharged.

According to him, he and a friend came to Nigeria from the United Kingdom.

The Asian man said he decided to stay in Lagos since a lot of countries were closing their borders.

He was tested for coronavirus in Lagos and came out positive, after which he was treated at an isolation centre in the state.

The Asian man said he has fully recovered and expressed his appreciation to the state government for having a good recovery hospital.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist Sir Kesington Adebutu has donated the sum of N300 million to the Lagos state government for the fight against coronavirus in the state.

The businessman described the donation as his own way of helping the state in bringing succour to those who are down with the disease.

Kesington commended the efforts of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in bringing succour to coronavirus patients in the state.

Amid coronavirus pandemic, UN donates $2m to federal government

A letter written to the state government read: “On behalf of myself, my entire family and organisation, we commend the dynamic efforts of Your Excellency in bringing succour to the sufferers of COVID-19 in the state.

“As a token of our support to the victims, myself, family and organisation are donating a modest sum of N300,000,000.00 (Three Hundred Million Naira Only) towards which we have forwarded the necessary instruction and our Banker–Wema Bank Plc has transferred the sum into the dedicated UBA Account number 1022751273 of LASG COVID-19.

“Copies of our cheque and receipt of the payment are attached for easy reference.”
