Issues of love and relationships are topics that are known to dominate a large aspect of discussions on social media, particularly in Nigeria where a lot of people feel like they have the best formula for love.
It is no longer news that many successful women in Nigeria are single and not in any serious relationship mostly because a lot of men are intimidated by their hard work and success.
Just recently, Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, was having a discussion with talent manager, Ubi Franklin, on Instagram live.
During the session, Ubi asked Toke about her opinion on men who might be scared to approach her because of her status in the society.
Toke responded by saying that any man who is intimidated by her success is not the right guy for her. She went on to explain how she lost both parents at eight and has been responsible for building a good life for herself.
She said: “Any man who is intimidated by a hardworking woman is not your guy. Any man who meets me now should be inspired. I lost both parents at 8. I basically built a life for myself. If that doesn’t inspire you, I don’t want to be with you.”

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that Toke has joined the fight against coronavirus by contributing N250,000 to a cause that aims to provide relief for people during the virus-induced lockdown.
Despite how much of a bad news the coronavirus is, it has also shown the good side of humanity by bringing people of different races, culture, and backgrounds together, to try and make things better for others.
A number of well-known personalities have caught the virus and some of them have even died from it, which goes to show that every human being is the same when it comes to death.
