As the world continues to battle with the pandemic coronavirus also known as COVID-19, the federal government of Nigeria in a bid to contain the virus placed a ban on social gathering amongst many other things.
However, not everyone seems to be obeying. Currently trending online is a video in southeast Nigeria, of how some women were dealt with by task force workers after they converged for their meeting known as Umu Ada.
In the video, the women are seen being addressed by the workers before they are attacked by the cane-wielding task force members who manage to flog some of them with others fleeing the meeting venue.

Meanwhile, controversial Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, has once again taken to social media to speak on the coronavirus pandemic also known as COVID-19 and this time, she has a piece of advice for other nations.
In a recent post, she questioned how China was able to contain the virus and insinuated that they are profiting from the pandemic. She further advised other nations to fix their economies, empower their people and stop relying on China.
