Times are tough for many people all over the world especially due to the coronavirus pandemic. A lot of lives have been lost to the disease and there is no known vaccine for it yet.

African countries are now on edge as the virus has found its way to the continent all the way from Wuhan in China. In order to stop the spread of the disease, the government has advised that people stay at home and that they should also practice social distancing.

A number of well-meaning Nigerian billionaires have also decided to join the fight against the disease by donating millions and billions of naira.

Well, Nigerian socialite, Ray Hushpuppi, does not seem convinced by these pledges and alleged donations from various billionaires and he has taken to social media to question them.

According to the socialite, people should check who these billionaires donated their funds to because the orphanages and hospitals in Nigeria are still lacking greatly.

Hushpuppi went ahead to describe the alleged donations as audio billions for clout.

In the caption of his post, he wrote: “I am directly in contact with some major orphanages and hospitals. They are lacking majorly in this crazy time so that makes me wonder where did all those privately donated funds go to?”

In other related news, Legit.ng reported that Hushpuppi recently took to social media to lambaste Nigerians who still attend church service despite the government's directive that people should isolate at home.

According to him, if anything happens to such people, they should know that it was their fault and not that of the government. He also said that if such people die as a result of their disobedience, the pastor will only donate prayers for them.
