Staying strong for mama - Davido writes as he shares emotional picture with son

Popular Nigerian musician, Davido, has shared a very touching message with his son on Instagram where he said the family is keeping strong for mama.

The mama in the message refers to Chioma and the message is not unconnected to her health status as she tested positive to coronavirus.

In the said picture, Davido held their son up as he struck a kissing pose with him, puckering his mouth and planting it on his side cheek.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigerian singer Davido announced that his wife-to-be, Chioma Avril Rowland, tested positive for coronavirus.

The singer noted that he and his son, Ifeanyi, tested negative. The singer made the announcement in a series of tweets on the popular micro-blogging platform.

He explained that he recently got back from the United States and his wife-to-be came back from the United Kingdom with their son, Ifeanyi.

He added that the test came back and Chioma tested positive. The singer also noted that even though Chioma tested positive the thirty-one others who got tested came back negative, including himself and his son.

Davido said Chioma is yet to show symptoms but she is now being quarantined. He added that he has also gone into full isolation for a minimum of fourteen days.

He thanked everyone for their endless love and prayers. The singer also advised people to stay at home as the spread of the virus is being controlled.

In other news, a 13-year-old boy, Charles Randolph, is using his skill to fight the pandemic ravaging the world with the aim to stem the widespread in the US.

The teenager became so concerned as the number of cases soared, leading him to contribute its quota towards combating the virus.

With the help of his parent’s 3D printer, he is making masks and donating them to people who are in need of them as a shortage of the essential material hits the world.

He said he was moved by how high-risks patients like people with heart diseases were battling the virus.

The knowledge to produce the masks was something he learnt when his parents enrolled him for enrichment classes where he learned how to use 3D technology.

In explaining the process, he said: “You use a slicer which takes the product that you got off Thingiverse and it turns it into code that the 3D printer can read.

“This is the first real, useful thing that I’ve made. It may not be 100 percent of a filtration system but it works.”
