Popular Nigerian singer Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as Dbanj, has taken to social media to share words of comfort with Nigerians as the world battles coronavirus. The singer used his experience to urge people that the world would survive.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the singer revealed that he slept in his room for the first time in twenty-one months. Recall that the singer lost his first child in June 2018, around 21 months ago.

The singer said he thought that it would be easier for him to sleep in his room but the memories are still fresh for him. He added that even though he and his family have been through so much, he woke up with a grateful heart.

Dbanj said he believes that he can be a source of visible hope to anyone going through hard times due to this pandemic and personal issues.

He urged people to know that tomorrow will be better and people can turn their pain into motivation. He said people should stay strong, stay safe and this too shall pass.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that in a sad turn of events, news reaching Legit.ng indicates that the son of popular Nigerian musician Dbanj and his wife Didi, Daniel Oyebanjo III, has died.

According to various sources, Daniel who was one-year-old drowned at Dbanj’s Ikoyi residence on Sunday, June 24, 2018. His remains have since been moved to a morgue at GRA, Ikeja.

Reacting to the news, Dbanj took to his Instagram page to write that: “Trying Times . But my God is Always and Forever Faithful ��.” This is coming just days after Dbanj shared some interesting photos showing him hanging out with baby Daniel. May baby Daniel’s gentle soul rest in perfect peace, amen.
