- Nollywood actress Omoborty has slammed a troll on Instagram for trying to make her effort meaningless

- The actress had announced that she would be giving out N5k each to twenty people

Nigerian actress Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty, recently joined other celebrities who were doing giveaways to help out their fans during the coronavirus pandemic shutdown.

As everyone has been advised to stay at home to curb the spread of coronavirus, many celebrities took it upon themselves to help out fans who might have a difficult time due to the lockdown.

Omoborty did her own part and announced that she would be giving away N5,000 each to twenty people to help out. However, this did not sit well with a particular Instagram user identified as Omoolaspace.

Omoolaspace said the N5,000 she was giving away would buy nothing. The Instagram user even advised the actress to share N10,000 to ten people instead.

The actress immediately blasted the troll in a lengthy reply. She told him that people like him are the ones who discourage others from helping out.

According to her, they make others believe that their money can do nothing to help people when there are many that would love to have that much, she added that the little she has can save lives.

Omoborty also threw a shade at the troll by calling him a big boy that does not need her little money. She added that she did the giveaway after someone blessed her this morning when she woke up broke.

Everything is under control - DJ Kaywise says after he mistakenly sent N350k to a giveaway winner

Officialomoborty: "@omoolaspace I decided to look away at your stupidity but I won't because people like you are the ones who discourage some people that are willing to help. You make them believe that their kobo is nothing and cannot help anyone. Meanwhile that kobo can actually save someone's life even if it can't save yours because I can see you're a big boy #yinmu#. This morning I was broke as in broke and God blessed me through someone. I decided to share the blessing with few people too. I just thought about it that for me to be broke..then a whole lot is going on out there. And you're here spewing rubbish, trying to rubbish my widows might. If 5k is too small why not add your own? Little drops of water makes an ocean. And if you can't add don't rubbish my effort. Oga bounce abeg."
