Nigerians await fulfillment of TB Joshua's prophesy of coronavirus ending on March 27

- Popular Nigerian pastor, TB Joshua, recently joined the list of men of God who made prophecies about the coronavirus pandemic

- TB Joshua had prophesied that the pandemic will disappear on March 27, 2020

- Now that the date has come, Nigerians have taken to social media to drag the pastor seeing as the virus is still very active

Africans are undoubtedly very religious people and they do not take matters of God with levity. This has also extended to their preachers as a lot of people practically worship them and the words that come from their mouths.

In a country like Nigeria, many people take the words of their religious leaders seriously and this has led to them making prophecies that their followers hold on to.

The coronavirus pandemic is one issue that seems to be plaguing the whole world and people have turned in different directions, looking for solutions to it.

A lot of believers have also looked up to their religious leaders in hope for an answer that will solve all the problems.

Just recently, controversial Nigerian pastor, TB Joshua, was spotted in a video preaching to his large congregation about coronavirus.

The supposed man of God claimed that the coronavirus will disappear the way it came by the 27th of March, 2020. Speaking further, Joshua said that if it is not medicine that brought it to the world, then medicine cannot take it out.

As the pastor prophesied, his congregation cheered him on. Well, the day of reckoning has finally arrived. Nigerians are now calling on the pastor to defend himself now that the day has come and the coronavirus is still on a rampage.

Tife Fabunmi said: “You people don’t even have patience.

TB Joshua said it’ll end today, this is just 9am. Nothing is impossible, we still have more than 14hours left.”

Mjay tweeted: “TB Joshua said on the 27th March we will not hear of Corona Virus again. Now we hear 2 deaths from Western Cape. You see your pastors?”

AJ wrote: “Pastor TB Joshua said Coronavirus would be gone on the 27th of March. Today is the day, make we dey observer. If at the end of day it didn’t happen, no blame am e fit be na network error. The spiritual realm is a complex stuff”.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that Nigerians took to social media to react after a pastor, Matthew Ashimolowo, told his church members not to forget to pay their offerings online. As expected, the video has caused a wide range of reactions from Nigerians.

While some people feel that he was only responding to questions asked from his members, others felt it was distasteful for him to be asking for offering during these trying times.
