In some parts of the song, the pair intertwine their vocals to magical effect.

"Best make me believe it / Best make me believe it / Believe you won’t deceive me,” Rihanna and Party, 26, sing together in harmony on the upbeat tune.

The name Rihanna on a brand new song typically elicited excited reactions across the world as fans had been waiting on the beauty queen to release new music for the last four years.

Rihanna and Party Next Door had previously worked together as the latter helped co-write the hit Work which also featured Canadian rapper Drake.

As far as his music is concerned, Party Next Door has tried to remain a bit more consistent than his counterpart Rihanna as he dropped two EP’s in 2017: Colours 2 and Seven Days.

For Rihanna, fans have been eagerly waiting on her project since she dropped the album Anti in 2016.

On a light note, ardent fans took to Twitter to lament on the fact that the new song only had Rihanna sing the hook whilst they were expecting so much more.

As a matter of fact, it only took Rihanna five words – “Babe, just make me believe it” - to make the very catchy chorus.

One Twitter user wrote: “So Rihanna made us wait four years to sing five words?”

Others were just glad to listen to some new material from the Fenty queen.
