Student cries out over symptoms, scared he may have contracted coronavirus

- As Nigeria intensifies effort to be free of coronavirus, more cases are being reported

- Apart from the reported cases, some Nigerians are crying out over symptoms they are currently exhibiting

- One of the people who have cried out is one T'Challa on Twitter, a student of the University of Ibadan

- T'Challa says he was having fever, chest pain, dry cough, and also experiencing difficulty in breathing

A student of the University of Ibadan simply identified as T'Challa on Twitter has cried out for help over the symptoms he is exhibiting which he feels may be coronavirus symptoms.

T'Challa took to Twitter on Monday, March 23, to inform the public that he was having fever, chest pain, dry cough, and also experiencing difficulty in breathing.

Legit.ng notes that the student said he had called the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) several times but he was told the centre was interested in those with travel history.

He tweeted: "I've called NCDC several times, they said they are interested in those that have travel history which I don't... I was on campus when everything started... Please kindly forward it till it gets to the appropriate person... As I write this. I write it pain (sic) ... Save me please.."

In other news, a Nigerian man has said he cannot contract the deadly coronavirus because the pandemic, according to him, only affects the rich.

The unidentified man admitted that coronavirus is a very dangerous disease and prayed that God should intervene as the country battles with the pandemic.

When asked if he was scared of coronavirus, he said as a Muslim, he can only contract the virus if God destines it, adding that he is not scared of the pandemic.

The man explained that the poor masses do not have the means to treat themselves if they contract the disease, but the rich will be able to take care of themselves if infected with the coronavirus.

Legit.ng previously reported that a pharmacy in Ibadan, Oyo state, had put in place a preventive measure against coronavirus pandemic by letting its customers maintain social distancing.

Some pictures circulated on social media in which customers of Kunle Ara Pharmacy stood in white boxes drawn on the floor in front of the pharmacy.

The customers stood a few metres away from one another.
