Jumping to his defense is his friend and colleague in the industry, Zlatan Ibile. The singer in a recent tweet, shamed people who were not financially stable, yet borrowed data to criticize him even though they have no food in their homes.

He tweeted: "You borrow hotspot yab Nairamarley now no food to eat this night !! Data wey u suppose Dey use monitor giveaway online."

The tweet which has over 8,000 likes and over a thousand retweets, sparked yet another outrage online as many people were not pleased with the singer's stance on the matter.

Some wasted no time in reminding Zlatan of his own humble beginnings and how he had no right to mock people who are not as privileged as he is.
