Controversial Nigerian rapper Azeez Fashola popular known as Naira Marley appears to be part of the skeptics that continue to doubt the existence of the deadly coronavirus disease in Nigeria, despite the frequent updates on social media by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Just recently, the rapper took to his official page on microblogging platform, Twitter, and called on people that equally don’t believe in the existence of the virus to retweet his post.

As expected, the tweet generated mixed reactions from Nigerians on the social media platform. A particular follower that reacted to the post noted that even the late Fela Kuti did not believe in the disease that eventually claimed his life.

"Marley we're not with u on this.. Let's all anticipate your video that's to dropped soon in peace," one follower tweeted at the singer.

Another follower that disagreed with him said: "Dude you ought to use your influence to help and enlighten your fans on personal hygiene and other ways to avoid this virus, but you are here doing the opposite. Until you will be a victim then you will understand."
