The heartwarming footage went viral and had a huge impact after it was shared via Facebook.

The video, which was shared recently, reveals the 'Good Samaritan' walking the streets and randomly donating shoes to strangers.

As is customary, the beneficiaries were all in need and many donned tattered and old footwear.

The stunned expression on many of their faces was a sight to behold and indicated the powerful effect of the gesture.
