March 22, 2020 marked Mother’s Day in Nigeria, and many people took to various social media platforms to celebrate and honour the day.
Nollywood actress and new mom, Toyin Abraham was not left out. She took to her Instagram page to celebrate the day with a photo from when her son, Ire was born.
Abraham revealed she was ecstatic to celebrate her first Mother’s Day, and also prayed for other women who were yet to become mothers.

She wrote: "This is my first Mother's Day as a mother and the feeling is extremely surreal. I am thankful and ecstatic all at once and I am using myself as a point of contact for everybody looking for the fruit of the womb. Your wish will be granted in Jesus name. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there."
She also reminded her followers about practicing the necessary precautions to avoid getting infected with coronavirus.
"Remember guys #CoronaVirus is real and deadly. Please wash your hands, practice social distancing and self- isolate if need be. I love you all," she wrote.

Still on Mother's Day celebrations, media personality, Tolu Oniru better known as Toolz, recently melted hearts after she took to social media to share a never-before-seen photo of her son, a few days after he was born in order to mark the day.
