Coronavirus is real: Rapper Olamide warns fans to stay safe

- Nigerian rapper, Olamide, has taken to social media to speak on the coronavirus pandemic

- The rapper warned fans who are still in doubt that the virus is very real

- Olamide was also spotted wearing a full face mask to protect himself from the virus

The coronavirus pandemic is now a serious global issue that is threatening to bring the world to its knees.

The virus which started in Wuhan, China, has spread to all but one continent in the world. Despite the fact that China is already successfully combating the illness, there is still no cure for it and a lot of other countries are still struggling to reduce death tolls and also curb the spread of the disease.

Despite the way news outlets have been reporting the news on coronavirus and how many people are getting informed about the disease and reading up on how to stay safe, a number of people have still shown their ignorance on the subject including some Nigerian celebrities who think it is nothing serious.

Well, Nigerian rapper, Olamide, has taken to social media via his Instagram page to tell fans that the virus is very real and that they should stay safe.

Olamide is obviously taking precautionary measures so as not to contract the disease and he shared a photo of himself rocking a full face mask as opposed to the common one which covers just the mouth and nose.

In the caption of the post, Olamide said that coronavirus is real. See his post below:

Just recently, Legit.ng reported on Nigerian rapper, Slimcase, who expressed his doubt on the seriousness of the coronavirus.

According to the rapper, coronavirus is a scam and it is just malaria lungs flu. Slimcase said that the virus can be likened to malaria. He said in two weeks, the virus will self-cure in infected people.

The music star said: “I told you all this is a scam. Covid is just malaria lung flu in two weeks it will self-cure, so what is the point.”
