Davido pays homage to late uncle Isiaka 'Serubawon' Adeleke as he visits Ede (video)

- Nigerian music star, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke, is currently in his hometown, Ede, in Osun state

- During his visit to the town, Davido, his cousin and their entourage made sure to visit the burial site of his uncle, late Isiaka Adeleke, also known as ‘Serubawon’

- While at the burial site, Davido paid homage to his uncle as he promised to make his legacy live on

Nigerian music star, Davido, is undoubtedly a family man as well as a man of the people. This is evident in how he holds family dear to his heart and tries to help them at every needed opportunity.

Just recently, the Risky crooner paid a visit to his hometown in Ede, Osun state, ahead of a show and he made sure to also visit the burial site of his late uncle, Isiaka ‘Serubawon’ Adeleke.

Davido visited the tomb of his late uncle, who is also the former governor of Osun state, with his cousin B-red and his entourage.

While at the tomb, a young man was seen ringing a bell and eulogising the late Serubawon as he said several prayers and also praised Davido and his team.

Davido shared the short clips on his Instagram story and he vowed to make the legacy of his late uncle live on forever.

Isiaka Adeleke died on April 23, 2017, and he was buried in Ede, Osun state, according to Islamic rites.

He was the first civilian governor of the state and he was also a serving senator and a three-term senator elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015. Senator Isiaka Adeleke died at the age of 62.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that Davido has decided to postpone his North American tour because of coronavirus.

In a post shared by the singer on social media, via his Instagram page, Davido said that it’s with sadness that he decided to halt his tour that has already sold out so far.

However, he admitted that it is the right thing to do and that the safety of his fans and staff is most important at this moment.
