As the novel COVID-19 also known as coronavirus, continues to spread with now 12 confirmed cases in Nigeria, the fears of many Nigerians continue to increase as many worry about the cases yet to be confirmed.
A Nigerian lady, Ogene Augustina, recently took to the Twitter platform to cry out for help after her husband returned from Spain and has been unwell. According to her, the hotlines are not available as no one has picked up.
She wrote:"Good evening, my husband just came back from Spain today and he's feeling unwell. He came back with Lufthansa airline LH568 . Please he needs to be tested . Although he has isolated himself.the hotlines are not available and no one is picking"

Shortly after, the post immediately went viral and soon enough, Ogene revealed they had been contacted and advised on the necessary steps to be taken.
"Thanks every1 for your kind support,suggestions and retweet’s. We’ve been able to get a direct contact from @ProfAkinAbayomi and @WilDeji .We were also advised on the following measures to take. They’ve taken our contacts for daily checks while hubby isolates himself. thanks fam", she tweeted.

Meanwhile, Five new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) have been officially confirmed in Nigeria, bringing the number of the victims to eight as the deadly virus spreads beyond borders.
The new cases were confirmed by the special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on new media, Tolu Ogunlesi, on Wednesday, March 18, barely twenty-four hours after the third case was reported.
In a series of tweet, Ogunlesi said four of the victims are Nigerians who just came from the United States of America and United Kingdom.
