- Antoine Griezmann could be leaving Barcelona this summer
- This is because the club are planning to bring back Neymar
- Neymar who left Barcelona last three years is at PSG
Brazilian football star Neymar who plays for Paris-Saint-Germain has been linked with a summer return to Barcelona, and France international Antoine Griezmann has been tipped to leave.
This latest development means that Lionel Messi and Neymar will have the chance for reunion if the report by Spanish football expert Guillem Balague comes out true.
After helping his country to win the 2018 World Cup in France, Antoine Griezmann was signed by Barcelona last summer and he has been doing good for the Catalans since he joined.
So far this season, the former Atletico Madrid man has netted 8 goals in 26 games for Barcelona this season in the Spanish La Liga.
But Neymar on the hand continues to be linked with a return to Barcelona three years after leaving the Nou Camp for a move to France.
Although the Brazilian star has won the League titles with PSG in the last two seasons, but he has not really enjoyed his stay in Paris with injuries also among the factors.
Neymar was reported to have left Barcelona then claiming that he was tired playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi and there was a need for him to go to where he would have liberty.
But he has not really enjoyed that as well in France as youngster Kylian Mbape is the main man at Paris-Saint-Germain.
"So yes, I think it will be a possibility of getting rid of Griezmann and perhaps Griezmann will feel that is the thing to do too.
"Neymar is a priority and that's why I'm saying the departure perhaps of Griezmann and/or Philippe Coutinho will help on the finances for that,''. Balague explained according to report on Daily Star.
Legit.ng had reported how Lionel Messi reportedly threatened to leave Barcelona should the club fail to bring an alternative solution to the recent crisis bedeviling it.
The Argentine hitman has been a messianic figure for the Catalans since the beginning of the campaign but was unable to replicate his brilliance as Barcelona were disgracefully outsmarted by Espanyol.
Barcelona also surrendered an early lead to suffer a 3-2 Super Cup defeat to league rivals Atletico Madrid in Jeddah, in what appeared to be the last stroke that broke the camel's back.
Although Barcelona are still the La Liga leaders, albeit on goal difference, Messi has issued a stern warning to the club over potential exit should they fail to bring bright stars.
