We are drama ministers , not Nollywood artistes - Mike Bamiloye draws the line

- Clergyman Mike Bamiloye has highlighted the difference between Mount Zion actors and Nollywood artistes

- The man of God made it clear that gospel movies heal and deliver people while Nollywood productions do the exact opposite

- According to Bamiloye, gospel movies are evangelical and they contain the revelation of the mind of God

Popular clergyman and Christian filmmaker Mike Bamiloye of Mount Zion Drama Ministries has come out to address people that often mistake actors in his ministry with those in Nollywood.

The man of God via a lengthy post shared on his official Instagram page made it clear that gospel movie productions and Nollywood productions are completely different. He said there is no value the artistes from Nollywood can add to gospel movie productions.

Bamiloye said: "There is no value the Nollywood artistes are coming to add to the gospel movie productions. Souls are getting saved and lives are getting touched. And the church is getting edified. People are getting happier with the result of gospel movie productions.

Explaining himself further in a different IG post, Bamiloye said that while those in Nollywood may do faith-based movies, it is different from what is obtainable in the Christendom. According to him, gospel movies are evangelical and they contain the revelation of the mind of God.

"We don’t do faith-based movies. We do evangelical gospel movies. Faith-Based-movies could be movies based on faith of the Muslim, Christian, Hindus, Traditional or African Religion. It is an attempt to stand in between, without the boldness to declare on which faith is your movies based.

"Our movies are based on the Faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth and they are expressions of the Manifestations of the Power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ," he wrote.
