Paul Pogba paid a tribute to compatriot Blaise Matuidi who is being diagnosed with Coronavirus while in self-isolation, cited on The Sun.
The 27-year-old posted an emotional message on social media and wore a Juventus shirt but assured Man United fans that there is no cause for alarm.
With the season currently suspended, Pogba trained in a Juventus shirt that had Matuidi's No.14 but insisted it was not a ploy to return to Turin.
The French midfielder is doing everything possible to get back into full fitness after recovering from an ankle problem.
Swedish defender Victor Lindelof was also training with the Frenchman in a mini football indoor pitch with both players wearing replica kits.
Matuidi became the second Bianconeri player to contract the virus after Italian defender Daniele Rugani.
Pogba and Matuidi did not play together at Juventus but won the Russia 2018 World Cup in 2018.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that UEFA president Alexander Ceferin has dismissed the idea of having Liverpool crowned Premier League champions amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The Premier League season is currently in limbo with fixtures suspended in a bid to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
With 29 matches already played, it now remains unclear if the remaining matches will be played to their conclusion.
Legit.ng had earlier reported that Didier Drogba has thrown his weight behind John Mikel Obi after quitting Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor due to Coronavirus crisis, cited on Instagram.
The former Nigerian international parted ways with the club after he refused to honour a home league match at the weekend of because of the spread of the deadly virus.
It is understood that the ex-Chelsea midfielder slammed the board for going ahead with the match and both parties agreed to terminate their dealings with each other.
