Actress Nkiru Umeh counts loss after losing house and beauty parlour to Abule Ado explosion

- A pipeline explosion at Abule Ado recently rocked Lagos state

- Lives and properties worth millions were lost as a result of the explosion

- Nollywood actress, Nkiru Umeh, is one of those counting their losses and thanking God for life

- According to the actress, she lost her home and beauty complex to the explosion

Tragedy struck on Sunday morning, March 15, 2020, after a pipeline exploded in the Abule Ado community of Lagos, killing several people and injuring many others.

A number of people who were miles away from where the blast occurred also heard the explosion and videos and photos started to make the rounds on social media showing the level of destruction it caused.

Just recently, Nollywood actress, Nkiru Umeh, took to social media to reveal the extent of damage the Abule Ado explosion caused to her properties.

The film star shared photos and videos of her home and beauty parlour which are both situated in the community and how it has been totally destroyed as a result of the explosion.

Despite her great loss of properties, Umeh thanked God that her life and that of her loved ones were not lost due to the explosion.

She wrote: “What’s left of my beautiful home. If you haven’t been to my house you might not really understand this. But again I thank God we were in the church. My boy and my PA miraculously escaped through the back fence that fell down though the boy got injured but he is getting better.”

In other news, Legit.ng reported that the principal of Bethlehem Girls College laid down her life for her students when a pipeline exploded in the Abule Ado community of Lagos.

The principal identified as Reverend Sister Henrietta Alokha rescued all her students before the roof of the collapsing building fell on her and led to her death.
