Frank Lampard has disclosed Callum Hudson-Odoi has almost made a full recovery after the Chelsea forward recently tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.

Hudson-Odoi was confirmed to have contracted the virus last week, prompting Chelsea to close their training facilities as players and staff moved to self-isolate.

Goal reports the London club has since reopened their training ground, but Hudson-Odoi and those he may have come contact with remain isolated.

Lampard has now come out to reveal the Blues winger's recovery is progressing well, adding the English international "almost feels his usual."

Lampard further took time to challenge everyone to take each other as the pandemic ravages the world.

"I am of course aware that not everyone can or will recover from this virus, so I urge all of the football and sporting community to continue to act responsibly and look out for the health of others," he said.

"Please do take the time to call older relatives and vulnerable people who might be alone, or offer to drop round shopping if they can’t get out.
