Nollywood actor and comedian Williams Uchemba has expressed his disappointment at the youths of this present generation. The comedian took to his social media page to air his opinion about a recent development that he noticed.

Williams stated that many youths lack regard for elderly people in the country.

A few days ago, Legit.ng reported that pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) prayed for his followers against the pandemic coronavirus.

The man of God assured his followers that no virus would come near them if they served God faithfully. He also encouraged them to maintain proper hygiene, noting that cleanliness is next to godliness.

Followers of the RCCG pastor responded to his prayers by saying Amen. But some people took to the comment section of the man of God to criticise him. While some called him fake, others said he was looking for a way to dupe gullible followers.

Irked by these comments, Williams Uchemba made a video and posted it on his Instagram page. His video was addressed to youths who made rude comments under the video of Pastor Adeboye.

The comedian said that many youths of this present generation do not have regard for the elderly ones. Noting that he is not a member of RCCG, Williams said that the fact that the man of God is an elderly person should make people respect him.

“If you are a young person that always opens your mouth to abuse men of God, you are destroying yourself,” the actor said.

Reacting to the actor's video, controversial OAP Daddy Freeze said that there is nothing wrong with rebuking an elder. The media personality noted that he does not agree to youths insulting their elders, but he said that the scripture spoke on how elders should be addressed when they are wrong.

Making references from the bible, Daddy Freeze said that even Jesus Christ rebuked elders. The radioman noted that people cannot be christlike if they are afraid to emulate Christ.
