- Mesut Ozil tops the list of Gunners stars who could leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of this season
- Mikel Arteta will be looking to rebuild his team for next campaign this summer
- The Gunners are already out of the Europa League and are staring at a possibility of missing out on a Champions League place
- Aubameyang and Mesut Ozil are among the leading senior Arsenal squad members who could leave the club this summer
Arsenal risk not qualifying for any European competition next season as they currently sit ninth on the Premier League table.
The Gunners have amassed 40 points from 28 league matches - eight points behind fourth-place finish with nine more games for them to play.
However, their recent improvement in the EPL has helped them close the gap a little on the top four teams.
The club kicked off the 2019/20 season on a disappointing note under former boss Unai Emery, after recording a string of poor results that saw them plummet to the bottom half of the table.
The situation forced the club's top brass to raid Manchester City for the services of Arteta who was appointed as a replacement for Unai Emery.

The side's recent shock exit from the Europa League in the round of 32 in the hands of Olympiacos underlined the frailties that remain at Arsenal.
As such, Arteta will be forced to rethink his future plans at the club as he seeks to rebuild his own team that can compete for titles.
The move could see the Spaniard tactician ship out a number of players to create space for new arrivals.
1. Henrikh Mkhitaryan
The Armenian midfielder is currently on a season-long loan with Serie A giants, AS Roma.
Mkhitaryan has failed to establish himself in English football and the Gunners could now be forced to sell him altogether.
2. Matteo Guendozi
Mirror Football reports Guendozi is among the players considered surplus to requirements by Mikel Arteta.
This is despite the Frenchman making 22 appearances for the Gunners in 28 league matches this season.
The defensive midfielder is rumoured to have had a row with Arteta during a training camp in Dubai, evidencing a strained relationship between the pair.
3. Sokratis Papastathopoulos
Sokratis has openly spoken about his uncertain future with Arsenal, recently declaring he would gladly leave if he does not feature in Arteta's plans.
The former Borussia Dortmund defender has not found it rosy at the Emirates even as he nears the end of his current deal with the Gunners.
And at age 31, he will not be considered apart of Arsenal's long-term future.
4. Mesut Ozil
The German star is currently the club's highest earner at £350,000 a week wages.
However, the midfielder has failed to justify his massive earnings and could be seen as a makeweight to free up money to fund new arrivals.
The 31-year-old has a running deal with the Gunners, but the club may see this summer as the perfect time to cash in.
5. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
The Gabonese forward is perhaps the surprise inclusion in this list.
But the Golden Boot winner is out of contract at the end of next season, sparking speculation he could be on his way out of the Emirates.
With 17 goals to his name in 26 Premier League appearances, the star forward will not be short of potential suitors.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are understood to be the leading contenders gunning for the services of the highly-rated striker.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Arsenal could be featuring in next season’s UEFA Champions League if the suspended Premier League season is declared null and void, Daily Star reports.
The Gunners are currently 9th on the Premier League table, but things may change as league stakeholders are set to meet to decide how the season will end.
The continued spread of the coronavirus has forced league administrators to suspend the competition until April 4.
