Coronavirus: Freeze reacts to testimony of Nigerian medical practioner who came in contact with Italian

- Daddy Freeze has reacted to a viral video of a Nigerian doctor who claimed prayers cured him of coronavirus

- The man identified as Amadi Emmanuel stated that he was amongst the first medical personnel that had contact with the Italian guy

- During isolation, Amada stated he got a call from Pastor David Ibiyeomie who instructed him to pray

- Daddy Freeze, however, compared religion as a cure for coronavirus to HIV curing syphilis

Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut recently took to his page to share a video of a man sharing his coronavirus testimony at the church of Pastor David Ibiyeomie.

Identified as Amadi Emmanuel, he stated that he was amongst the medical team who came in contact with the Italian, who was the index case in Nigeria.

However, after reading a scripture in the bible and praying as instructed by Ibiyeomie, his test results for coronavirus came out negative. While many people rejoiced at what they believe is God's work at play, Daddy Freeze seems to think otherwise.

He took to his Instagram page to react to the testimony, questioning which is worse between religion and coronavirus as he described the former as also being a virus.

According to Daddy Freeze, saying religion can destroy coronavirus is the equivalent of saying contracting HIV will cure syphilis.

He wrote: "Religion and poverty go hand in hand. According to statistics, the more religious a nation; the poorer that nation. Hunger, resulting from poverty kills more people daily than Covid19 has globally. I’m amazed that anyone can make religion a hero in this equation.

And don’t even start with the ‘Christianity is not a religion’ BS. In my opinion, as guided by the scriptures, the Christianity practiced in most parts of Nigeria is a full-fledged religion that bears no semblance to what Christ taught!"
