Arsenal star Lucas Torreira has provided a cheering update on the status of manager Mikel Arteta claiming that the Spaniard is now getting better after contracting coronavirus.
Mikel Arteta recently became the first Premier League manager to contract the deadly virus which forced the Arsenal chiefs to quarantined all the players.
The Gunners have not trained since their manager was tested positive to the virus as all the players have been on self isolation.
Arteta is currently receiving treatments as the Gunners fans hope that he recuperate as soon as possible.
And Lucas Torreira who is currently nursing an injury has claimed that Mikel Arteta has been communicating with the squad and he is getting better.
"The truth is that we didn't expect this virus to reach the club, the locker room. Mikel Arteta is better. He was able to communicate with us and he is improving," he told Sport 890.
This latest development from Lucas Torreira is expected to be a good one for all Arsenal fans who have been worried since Arteta was tested positive.
The 37-year-old also confirmed that he is also recuperating fast from the injury he suffered stressing that he will start working well in the next 10 weeks.

Arsenal is currently being owned by American billionaire Stan Kroenke and there has not been any report whether the 72-year-old wants to sell the Gunners.
