Odion Ighalo scored a breath-taking goal in Man United's 5-0 win over LASK in the Europa League last 16 game, cited on Daily Star.

The strike is a contender for goal of the season and United fans have flooded UEFA's official handle to vote for the Nigerian striker as the Player of the Week.

Ighalo did most of the work in the making of the goal after Bruno Fernandes assisted the 30-year-old who made three touches before finding the roof of the net with his fourth.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was amazed by the improvisation of the Nigerian striker who many criticized since his winter move from Shanghai Shenhua.

It was Ighalo's fourth goal in eight matches in all competitions and his second in the Europa League for United.

Meanwhile, Ighalo has stated that Man United fans should expect more from new signing Fernandes as the Portuguese star has shown the stuff he is made of.

The creative midfielder has already scored three goals and created four assists since his £68million move from Sporting Lisbon in January.

And Ighalo who played together with the midfielder during his spell with Serie A club Udinese.

"It's not my first time playing with Bruno. I played with him at Udinese back in 2010," he told the BBC.

"He's a great player. He has vision. He's the guy who wants the ball because he can do something fantastic with it if you give him space. He's a good passer of the ball and he's what this team needs to score goals.
