A video has emerged online in which an 80-year-old Arab man reportedly married a 12-year-old girl.
Legit.ng gathers that the video was posted on a YouTube channel on Thursday, March 12, by Lalasticlala Lala.
Child marriage has been a subject of discussion in recent past as a lot of people have condemned the act, while some have lent their support for it.

Recall that a 103-year-old Indonesian man identified as Puang Katte married a 23-old girl named Indo Alang.
The wedding took place in the regency of Wajo in the central Indonesian province of South Sulawesi.
The groom’s relative Ayu Anggreni Muchtar told local media: “Yes, the wedding was held this afternoon at the bride’s home on Galico Street!”
According to Ayu, the groom paid 5 million IDR (N128, 189) as the bride price.
In other news, a 23-year-old Kenyan lady identified as Faith Cherop has said she escaped child marriage to further her education, an event that has made her a happy woman.
She said her father was not supportive of her education when she started schooling, but she completed her primary education.
Faith said she had to stay at home because her father could not afford to send her to secondary school.

She said: "Even if he could, he would only take my brothers. He said I had to stay at home or get married. In my community, child marriage has been practiced for a long time but lately the government has stepped up efforts to stop it. Anyone found engaging in this is prosecuted."
We Charity had started secondary school sponsoring girls in Faith's community at the time.
Faith said she wished and hoped that she would be among those who would be chosen to join Kisaruni All Girls Secondary School that year, but she was not among them.
She said: "I felt so bad, discouraged and hopeless. I stayed at home for some weeks until one day I decided to go to Kisaruni on my own."
Faith said she met with the principal and pleaded her case for a chance to join the high school.
The young lady said: "She was very understanding, nice and kind. The following day I received an admission letter from Kisaruni. I couldn't sleep at night because of the joy that I had."
