- The player says he is happy to have the ball at his feet once again

Harry Kane was spotted at Tottenham training on Monday, March 9, for the first time since January when he had a surgery according to a report on The Sun.

The 26-year-old was badly injured when Spurs lost 1-0 away at Southampton on New Year's Day.

The player who is now recuperating appeared at the club’s training ground as the club tweeted "@HKane continues his rehabilitation outside at Hotspur Way this morning."

The player also took to twitter to inform his followers that he is happy to have the ball at his feet once again. "Love being back on the grass with a ball at my feet," he tweeted.

There were fears that the player may not return until April, while club manager Jose Mourinho admitted that the player might be out for the rest of the season.

Also, Three Lions’ boss Gareth Southgate also feared that the player might not be fully fit when international duties call in the summer, but a return could now be possible.

It would also mean he would be match fit by the time England kick off their Euros against Croatia at Wembley on June 14.

"In my head, I am definitely at the Euros,” he told Evening Standard.

"Unless something pretty drastic happens between now and then, I’ll be there.

"I’m still not back training with the first team, but I’m working hard in the gym, I’m getting stronger all the time.

“We’re talking a few more weeks, and I’ll be playing again.

"I don’t want to make a prediction for which game I might be back, but I am hoping somewhere between the start and the middle of April.”

Legit.ng earlier reported that Harry Kane would opt to become a Manchester United player instead of remaining with Tottenham as Jose Mourinho continues to rebuild the North London team.

Having spent about a decade with the club, Kane has scored record 181 goals, but has no trophy to show for it. According to Spurs Chief Daniel Levy, the club is doing everything to keep the player at the club, but he could leave if they fail to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
