Pastor rewards policewoman celebrated for her honesty and professionalism with N1m

- A police officer, Esther Amadi, has been appreciated for her dedication and honesty to work

- The female sergeant is attached to Elimgbu police station in Port Harcourt, Rivers state

- Amadi was rewarded with a cheque of N1 million by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the general overseer of Omega Power Ministry

A pastor, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the general overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM) has blessed policewoman celebrated for her dedication to work and honesty with a cheque of N1 million on Wednesday, March 4.

In a tweet by@askPHPeople, Legit.ng gathered that the police sergeant, identified as Esther Amadi, is attached to Elimgbu police station. She is said to be usually seen controlling traffic at Rumuokwurusi junction, along Port Harcourt – Aba Expressway, Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

Recall that Legit.ng reported that while some police officers were been condemned for the bribe-seeking behaviour, Esther Amadi was celebrated for her honesty and dedication to her work as an officer controlling the traffic.

According to Miebaka Tolu Fiberesima who shared photos of the police officer Amadi who is fondly called the "smiling queen", she is said to be very professional when it comes to doing her job and does not ask for tips even though people willingly try to show appreciation.

Amadi was described as a hardworking uniform woman who is cheerful, dutiful, respectful and diligent.

While Amadi is being celebrated for honesty, another police officer was caught on camera giving a balance of N900 to a driver after collecting N1000 from him as a bribe. The officer initially was going to give the driver N800 but after much haggling and bargaining with the driver telling him he is still going to settle other policemen he will encounter on his journey, he got a balance of N900.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that a man via Twitter has accused some unnamed officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) of extortion.
