Cristiano Ronaldo has doused tension, confirming that his mum is now stable condition after suffering a stroke, cited on Twitter and Mirror.

The 35-year-old quickly rushed to Madeira after he got the news of his mother's health on the morning of Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

But the Juventus striker took to his social media handle to relieve pressure to his fans, claiming that there is no course for alarm.

"Thank you for all your messages of support for my mum. She is currently stable and recovering in hospital.

"Me and my family would like to thank the medical team looking after her, and kindly ask that we are all given some privacy at this time," the five-time Balon d'Or winner said on his Twitter account.

CR7's mum Dolores who had been previously diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 is believed to have suffered the most common type of stroke called ischemic.

Ronaldo's boyhood club Sporting Lisbon sent his 65-year-old mum, who is also the ambassador of the club's foundation, well wishes.

Ronaldo was present when his former club Real Madrid defeated Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu for the first time since 2014.

During half time at El Clasico, he went into the team's dressing room to motivate his former teammates while the score was still at 0-0.

Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior scored and celebrated like Ronaldo, claiming he was inspired by the half time talk with the Juventus striker.
