- Anthony Joshua has stated that his fight with Kubrat Pulev would end in the 11th round via a knockout
- Both heavyweight fighters are set to face off on June 20, 2020, at the home ground of Tottenham Hotspurs
- Eddie Hearn has revealed that the much-anticipated fight between Fury and AJ will hold at the end of the Year
Anthony Joshua has made a bold prediction about the outcome of his fight with IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev, cited in Mirror and Sky News.
The Nigerian-born British heavyweight champion was pressed to give a prediction on the fight, and he responded: "Round 11."
The WBO, IBO, WBA and IBF champion will face the Bulgarian challenger on June 20, 2020, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The challenger Pulev has lost just once in his career and that was in 2014 when he was given the opportunity for the IBF title with Wladmir Klitschko.
"He's been in the game for a while, he went to the top level and then he got defeated," Joshua said.
"So he knows his way around the ring. He's had his chance at the top level and now he's coming back again, so he's probably going to try and get it right.
"It's kind of like what my style is as well so it will be a good match up for sure. We're going to box, people are going to see some skills, and they're probably going to see a knockout as well because you've got two boxer-punchers."
AJ will need to record a victory against the Cobra in order to boost his chances of fighting the winner of Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.
Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn is confident that the all British affair between Fury and Joshua will hold at the end of the year.
"The great thing is that [Fury vs Wilder] is in July and we box in June.
"Now our intention, and conversations are ongoing, is to finalise the Fury vs Joshua fight for December of this year. There's no reason not to get that contracted now, subject to both guys winning in the summer," he told Sky Sports News.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Anthony Joshua is now set to face Bulgarian fighter Kubrat Pulev in a heavyweight championship match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 20, according to Guardian, cited in BBC and Daily Mail.
All of Joshua's four belts will be on the line for the contest including the IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO straps.
