Basketball fans across the world are still in shock over the death of Kobe Bryant, with his sister becoming the new persona to immortalise the late NBA legend via a lifetime tattoo.
Bryant left a huge vacuum in the heart of families and relatives with his passing also throwing the entire sports space into mourning.
Bryant tragically died aged 41 in an unfortunate helicopter crash in Calabasas California on Sunday night, January 26.
The NBA legend and business mogul died with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people aboard.
Bryant was on his way to a basketball match when the incident happened and his death has since plunged the sports world into mourning.
Kobe leaves behind his window Vanessa and his three daughters including Bianca and Natalia, and assets worth a staggering $2 billion.
Petitions are now ongoing calling on NBA body to make 'Mamba' the new face of their logo, with over 18,000 signatures already gathered since the news of his tragic passing broke.
Amid an outpouring of tributes, Vanessa took to her Instagram page to announce that her sister-in-law has honoured her husband and Gianna with a 'cool tattoo.'
The 37-year-old widow uploaded the picture of the body artwork with emojis of love.
"My sister-in-law got this cool tattoo to honour #GigiBryant and #Kobe) ❤️❤️ 2~24 forever. Love you," Vanessa posted.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Vanessa Bryant has renamed her husband Kobe's Mamba Sports Foundation to Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation as the grieving widow of the late NBA legend moves to cement the legacy of her late daughter Gianna.
In a statement made on her Instagram handle, the 37-year-old widow, however, posited that the name change does not affect the mission.
Venessa expressed gratitude to the world for standing by the family since the departure of her husband and their 13-year-old daughter.
