Popular Nigerian journalist and Chairman of Ovation Media Group, Dele Momodu has been spotted taking preventive measures against the viral disease, coronavirus.

The media group's chairman shared a photo of himself in an airport on his social media page. In the photo, he was seen with a facial mask on his face and gloves in his hands while holding his luggage.

According to the journalist, the reason for how he is dressed is because of the deadly disease travelling from one country to another.

A few hours ago, reported that Nigeria has recorded its first case of coronavirus. It was reported that an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria and returned from Milan was confirmed to have the disease.

Thankfully, it was quickly discovered and the patient is reported to be managed at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos.

The news about coronavirus broke in January this year and so far, it has killed over 2, 000 people in China where it originated from. According to online reports, the deadly virus is now spreading faster outside China.

Healthcare systems are ensuring that the disease does not spread further as they are dishing out tips to avoid contracting the disease.

The media mogul took to his social media page to express his fears. He explained that he was on a plane and people were greeting, shaking and pecking him. The Dorobucci crooner called on his fans and followers for help. He asked them what he could do.
