The Nigerian entertainment industry no longer features only actors, musicians and comedians, as there are now other interesting personalities who amuse fans with their antics.

In Nigeria now, there seems to be a rise in the number of cross dressers in the spotlight. One of them is a young man known as James Brown, aka ‘they didn’t caught me.’

James Brown, who also now has claim to fame took to social media via his Instagram page to wish himself a happy birthday on February 22, 2020.

The self-acclaimed dancer shared a photo of himself and he explained in his caption that he cannot believe he made it to his 21st birthday.

The young man also recounted all the hard times he faced in his life before becoming a known personality. James said he used to hawk and beg for transportation fare from people, but now he is better off.

In his words: “Hey Durling it my birthday wow am so happy!!!!!

I can’t believe I make to my 21 years omg with everything I have pass in my life I’m so happy to make it here.

I can remember when I use to hawk in the street of Lagos, I can remember when I use to beg for transportation to go work, Thank God the bills are being paid with no stress. God has changed my story through entertainment. I love you all.”

Recall that James Brown became known to many Nigerians after he was arrested alongside others and paraded by the police on the suspicion of being gay.

A lot of media houses were present when he was paraded and James Brown was quite vocal about his plight as he continually asked if they caught him doing anything illegal. He added that ‘they didn’t caught me’.

James Brown who had earlier claimed to be HIV positive recently backtracked and said that he is actually negative.

James Brown said that he is not HIV positive and that he only claimed to be at the time to save himself. He also said his lie now seems to be haunting him.
