Paul Pogba rejoins Man United teammates in training after returning from Dubai trip

- Paul Pogba was spotted driving into Manchester United's training complex earlier today

- The Frenchman has not featured for the club in any competition since December 2019

- Pogba recently returned from Dubai where he was recuperating from his ankle surgery

Manchester United record signing Paul Pogba re-joined his teammates at the Carrington training complex on Friday, February 21 to continue his recovery process.

The want-away midfield star recently returned from Dubai where he tried to speed up his return for the Red Devils.

He last featured for the Old Trafford outfit on Boxing Day in their 4-1 win over Newcastle United - thereafter proceeded to undergo ankle injury at the start of the year 2020.

According to UK news outlet Manchester Evening News United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was quoted on New Year's Day saying his most expensive player would be unavailable for about one month.

Meanwhile, the second month is fast coming to an end and there is no specific date to Pogba's return to the Red Devils' fold.

The Frenchman was spotted driving himself to the training ground in a Bentley Bentayga, unlike before when a driver used to drive him down to the complex.

Meanwhile, their trip to Belgium ended 1-1 after Anthony Martial scored in the 36th minute to cancel out Emmanuel Bonaventure's early strike.

Before their match against Club Brugge, Solskjaer was asked about Pogba's return during a pre-match conference and the manager said: "He's not been part of team training yet,"

"And it will depend on how he feels, or when he feels ready to do that. So he's not anywhere near that yet."

The Red Devils return to action this weekend when they welcome relegation-threatened Watford to Old Trafford on Sunday.

It would also be the first time ever, Nigerian star Odion Ighalo would be facing his former Hornets teammates in a competitive match since he left them a few years back.

The former Super Eagles forward made his debut for the club in their 2-0 win over Chelsea earlier this week, but he is yet to find the back of the net after his second game.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Paul Pogba has given Manchester United an injury boost after the Frenchman trained without using a protective boot on Sunday, February 9.

The World Cup-winning midfielder has been out of action for United for a couple of games in the back having picked an ankle injury in September.

Although Pogba made a cameo appearance in Red Devils' 2-0 defeat to relegation-threatened side Watford last year, he went on to pick up another injury on Boxing Day in December which has him back to the sidelined.
