Erling Braut Haaland has been named the UEFA Champions League player of the week following his impressive display for Borussia Dortmund against Paris Saint Germain.

The 19-year-old scored two superb goals in the second half to outshine the duo of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar which helped the Bundesliga side edge their visitors out in the game.

Although the German League side travels to Paris next month for the remainder of the round of 16 clash, the teenage sensation would be hoping to add to his tally in the game.

As it stands, Haaland has equaled Robert Lewandowski's ten-goal haul in the European championship so far this campaign - as they both sit atop of the scorers' chart.

The youngster beats the likes of Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Loris, Renan Lodi of Atletico Madrid and Hateboer of Atalanta to the prestigious award.

Haaland opened scoring for his side in the 69th minute but six minutes later, Neymar's equaliser canceled his opener.
