Man United are scheduled to shift their focus to Europa League action on Thursday, February 20, as they play Club Brugge in the first leg of their round of 32.
United, who sit seventh on the Premier League are expected to use Europa as a fallback option to qualify for Champions League should they miss out on a place in the top four.
As such, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could parade a strong side against Club Brugge to have the fixture settled.
However, he is expected to ring a couple of changes from the side that defeated Chelsea 2-0 on Monday night, February 17, at Stamford Bridge.
David De Gea is expected to pave way for Sergio Romero in goal, with Victor Lindelof returning to United's heart of defence after missing the Stamford Bridge trip through illness.
Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Diogo Dalot are expected to partner the Swede in the backline, with Juan Mata replacing Fred in midfield.
Andreas Pereira could also find his way to the squad alongside new signing Bruno Fernandes.
Jesse Lingard is expected to replace out of form Dan James upfront even as Anthony Martial leads the line.
