- Neymar Jr was on target for PSG in their 2-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund this midweek
- The Brazilian's goal was not enough to rescue them from outright defeat in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 encounter
- Neymar says PSG made him suffer for not featuring him more in matches
Neymar Jr has lashed out at Paris Saint Germain after their 2-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash.
Two second-half goals from Erling Haaland ensured the Brazilian's 75th-minute strike ended up a mere consolation.
Though, PSG still has another chance to turn the result around if they must go through to the next stage of the European competition.
After the match, Neymar blamed the club for subjecting him to suffering in recent weeks owing to their fears of playing him.
According to SunSport, the former Barcelona star was not available for selection in his side's last four matches before their 2-1 defeat in Germany.
Meanwhile, the 28-year-old believes he should be getting more playing time as long as he is still at the club.

Speaking to RMC Sport the Brazilian said: "It is difficult to spend four matches without playing, but, unfortunately, it was not my choice.
"It was a choice made by the club, the doctors. They took this decision and I did not like it.
"We had lots of discussions about this because I wanted to play. "I felt good but the club was scared. In the end, I am the one who suffers."
He added: "I understand the fear that the club was suffering from because in the last two years I was not able to play in the round of 16.
"I respect the decision, but it cannot be like this, because the player ends up suffering. "It was very difficult to play a match like this, intense, 90 minutes without stopping. It is different.
"Had I been in better shape, I would certainly have played better."
Legit.ng earlier reported that German League side Borussia Dortmund have one leg into the quarterfinals of this season's Champions League championship after their victory over Paris Saint Germain.
Erling Haaland scored twice to hand the home team an advantage ahead of the second leg next month.
Former Barcelona star Neymar scored his side's only goal but it was not enough to help avoid defeat.
