- Bruno Fernandes recorded his first assist for Man United in their victory over Chelsea
- The Portuguese star provided help for Harry Maguire's second goal towards the end of the clash
- Anthony Martial opened scoring for the Red Devils on the half time mark
Bruno Fernandes has urged Manchester United teammates to improve their ball possession ability after their victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
A goal each from Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire helped the Red Devils complete a double over Frank Lampard's men.
The victory also pushes them close to finishing top four as they trail the Blues with just four points after 26 rounds of matches.
Meanwhile, Fernandes, who assisted one of his side's two goals believes United have to improve their ball possession ability having enjoyed just 39% of ball possession on Monday night.
The Portuguese star joined the Premier League club during the January transfer window and he was handed a starting role by his new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
But the Manchester outfit will have VAR to thank as the home side had two goals from Kurt Zouma and Olivier Giroud ruled out.
But despite the victory, Fernandes believes his team must improve as they push for a top-four finish, adding it is a dream come true to play for the Old Trafford dwellers.
"I feel great, I’m really happy in a difficult game. We needed to win and we can do much better with the ball. Chelsea are really good with the ball," Metro UK quoted the Portuguese.
