Odion Ighalo's dream of playing for Manchester United in the Premier League finally came true on Monday night, February 17, when the Nigerian played against Chelsea.
The ex Super Eagles star started his football career on the streets of Ajegunle in Lagos state before going to join Nigerian Professional Football League side Prime FC of Osogbo where he has short stint.
While growing up on the streets in Ajegunle and playing soccer with his friends, Odion Ighalo used to wear Manchester United jersey as he had a dream of playing for the Red Devils.
He has played once in the Premier League where he impressed at Watford before he left for the Chinese Super League.
Considering his age, no one would have thought that Odion Ighalo will make a return to the Premier League not to talk of joining a side like Manchester United.
But Odion Ighalo is a perfect exemplification of success as favor eventually located him for his dream of playing for Manchester United to come true.
