People who shout while praying in church are selfish - Rapper Vector

- Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun popularly known as Vector has made a case against people who shout in churches

- Vector said people who shout in churches with the belief that God will hear them more are selfish

- The entertainer said that the mentality is not christianly

In Nigerian churches, it is common to hear congregations praying and singing in loud voices. Most times, they are told by their religious leaders to shout so that they can be heard by God. Other times, they are asked to shout so that their leaders would know that they are getting along with them.

Meanwhile, this doesn’t go down well with some people as they come online to talk about it. They state that churches are not far from them and their noise disturbs them.

In fact, some people have made cases against Christians who do morning evangelism. These people said that their morning sleep is always disturbed.

Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun popularly known as Vector, is the latest person to complain about Christians who shout in churches. He took to the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to make his case known.

He asked why people shout in churches with the belief that God would hear them more than their neighbours who did not shout. According to him, the mentality is selfish.

The entertainer said that shouting more than one’s neighbour in church service is not christianly, but a competition.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that Vector replied MI Abaga with diss track titled Judas The Rat. The rappers have been at loggerheads for quite a while but it does not seem to concern many fans who are entertained by their diss tracks to each other.

Abaga released a track titled The Viper, which was addressed to Vector, and he went as far as mocking his colleague with his performance at the 2019 BBNaija grand finale show.

Responding to the track, Vector released a 4:30 seconds track titled Judas The Rat. Fans seemed to be entertained by their outbursts.
